Guidance and Notices

Notices

Notices are informational messages that are visible to all users. Notices may be displayed at the visit and procedure levels.

Guidance

Guidance items are actionable messages providing step-by-step instructions to ensure protocol compliance and consistency across sites and participants for any procedures performed.  Guidance items can be checked off indicating that the step was completed.

There are three types of guidance and the user’s role-type determines which of these types are displayed and/or updatable.

  1. General Guidance: viewable by all users and updatable by site users.
  2. Source Guidance: viewable by all users and updatable by site users.
  3. Monitoring Guidance: viewable by all non-site users and updatable by monitors.
