Details

Impact to Queries

When a subject log row is crossed out:

  • Closed queries will not be impacted.
  • Automated queries (edit checks) will be updated to indicate the queried data has been crossed out. They will then be closed.
  • Manual queries will be updated to indicate the queried data has been crossed out. The queries will remain in an answered state until they are closed.

Addressing Queries on Crossed-Out Subject Log Rows

  • For Data Management, Clinical Monitor and Safety users, an icon on the subject log summary page indicates that an answered query requires attention:

  • Manual and automatic queries on subject log rows that were crossed out after the 2.19.0 release will populate on the Queries tab and in the Query Listing report.
  • In the Procedure column of the Queries tab, the text "(Crossed Out)" indicates the query belongs to a subject log row that has been crossed out. This text will also be present in the downloaded report. In the downloaded report, the Sequence #/Name column can be filtered on those keywords to get a list of queries on crossed-out subject log rows.
  • To answer or close a manual query on a crossed-out subject log row, click on the query row in the Queries tab.

Log Row Cross-out Audit Trail

  • On the subject log summary page, click on the history icon to show an audit trail of crossout actions:

  • The subject PDF also contains subject log row crossout history.
