Release Notes (2.17.0)

The following features were added as part of the Flatiron Vessel production release on October 28, 2024.

User Interface

To improve transparency into the time zone in which the viewer sees datetime values in the Vessel UI, and to allow users to better interpret data in Vessel across time zones, we made the following updates:
- In the audit trail for site-entered datetime values, surface the time zone as a UTC offset.
- In the audit trail for values showing "when" an update is made in the EDC, surface the time zone as a UTC offset.
Made an update to skip locked sites in a version migration. This update prevents signed subjects in locked sites from becoming unsigned when updates are made to the protocol version.
Made an update to allow semicolons in "Other, specify" fields. This update mitigates issues resulting from semicolons that were previously entered and allows the use of semicolons in "Other, specify" fields moving forward.
Fixed an issue where the performance status of some Case Report Forms (CRFs) could not be updated.
Resolved an issue where a misleading error was thrown when an invalid value was entered in a free text field.
Made an update to prevent the creation of subject logs from within a locked or submitted CRF.
Updated Real-Time Edit Check functionality to allow queries on Reason-Not-Performed in Not Done forms.
Made an update to prevent data entry in a stale protocol version.

To ensure reports serve as a source of truth regarding datetime values, we made an update to consistently surface these values in reports:
- Site-entered datetime values (e.g., Visit Date) surface as they were entered by the site user (no time zone change).
- Datetimes reflecting "when" an update was made in the EDC (e.g., Visit Started in EDC) surface in UTC.
Made an update to include blank CRFs in the Clinical Listings report.
Fixed an issue where the Clinical Listings report sometimes displayed the coded value instead of the display value.
