Flatiron Vessel Release Notes - Release 2.8.0

The following features were added as part of the Flatiron Vessel production release on October 5, 2023.

User Interface

  • Visit Procedure
    • Site users now have the ability to revert their action when accidentally marking a procedure as performed. Once a visit procedure is started, site users are able to choose the option “No - previously marked as Yes” or “Not Required - previously marked as Yes” to undo. If the procedure is required, site users will be prompted to enter the reason why the procedure is not performed. If the procedure is not required, site users do not need to take any further action. Undoing a started procedure can only be done once all data entry on the form is removed, all certified copies uploaded are crossed out and the form is in “Open” status.

    • For any data field whose data is pushed from an EHR via Clinical Pipe, a bolt icon is displayed next to the field label. When a user’s mouse pointer hovers over the data field, the text “Sent from EHR” is shown.

  • Subject Log
    • A bug blocking both a subject log and the visit procedure linked to that subject log from being opened when fields in the subject log are removed was fixed.
    • A bug in handling different protocol versions that is blocking subject log entries from being opened was fixed.
    • For any data field whose data is pushed from an EHR via Clinical Pipe, a bolt icon is displayed next to the field label. When a user’s mouse pointer hovers over the data field, the text “Sent from EHR” is shown.

  • Review Workflow
    • A bug breaking the review workflow of a visit procedure linked to subject log was fixed.
  • Query Workflow
    • For any field with queries, query count icons are displayed next to the field with counts of open, answered and closed queries.

Reporting

  • Dashboard Report
    • Following the addition of the option “No - previously marked as Yes” for visit procedure, the column “Procedure Performed” in CRF Listing tab will be populated with “No - previously marked as Yes” or “Not Required - previously marked as Yes” if the either option is chosen for any visit procedure.
