The following features have been added as part of the Protocol First production upgrade released on July 18, 2019.

Feature Enhancements

Updated Field Indication for CRA and DM Review

If a procedure or log is “unlocked” for site data entry, the updated fields will be highlighted for the user role that performed the unlock. For example, if a CRA provides a Review Comment after the procedure has been submitted for review, any updated data will be highlighted upon re-submission by the site for review.

Extended User Session

Users now have the ability to extend the inactivity timeout from 15 minutes to 12 hours by enabling the “Extended Session” feature. Once a session is extended, users will be prompted to renew after 12 hours of inactivity. The session will reset upon renewal or logout. I.e. Users must enable “Extended Session” at each login.

To enable an extended session:

Select “Extended Session” from the drop down under your username
Acknowledge that you have screen saver enabled that meets the following requirements:

Password enabled to unlock screen.
Screen saver will be invoked automatically with 10 minutes or greater inactivity.

DM Review Required Workflow

For procedures configured to require DM review, "DM Review Complete" will always be confirmed by DM as the final step, even if other queries had been opened previously.

New System Artifact: Blank CRFs

Blank CRFs, including an image of each procedure and any associated picklist values for pick-one fields is available from the Artifacts menu for all non-site user roles.
